Retreats 2026
I’ve been running international yoga and wellness retreats in France, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco since 2018 and have clocked up over 10+ sell-out retreats since first starting out in Marrakesh.
I like to think of going on a retreat as side-stepping the hum-drum of real life for a brief moment – like entering a beautiful kind of alternative reality – a bubble – with former and new found like-minded friends for a few days – this can be transformative – giving the mind, body and soul a holistic vacation!
You get to travel with purpose to a venue – usually in nature with great facilities – pool, massage, spa. You experience time out to disconnect from technology and from your role at home – wife, parent, worker etc – and become you – all of you for a few days – it’s priceless.
You have time and space to stop overthinking – to talk – really talk to other people like you about life, love, and all the bigger things you can suddenly notice – when you don’t have day to day nonsense to deal with clogging up your primitive brain. You get to drop into the body and out of the mind – a gift in these busy lives we lead – allowing you to check in and connect to all of you.
And you might just meet some great people that become long term retreat friends – that you’ll bump into time and time again.
Testimonial:
‘Attending the yoga retreat in Malaga organized by Lucy Heaton Wellbeing was an unforgettable experience. The combination of invigorating ice baths, a mesmerizing sound bath arranged by an expert, nutritious food, the formation of friendships, and the well-organized nature of the retreat made it a truly transformative journey. Lucy’s expertise, guidance, and genuine care for each participant created an environment that allowed us to let go, rejuvenate, and return home with a renewed sense of well-being. I highly recommend Lucy’s retreats to anyone seeking a holistic and enriching yoga experience.’

Rustic Ramblings and Yoga Retreat: Retreating in the Porto Hills
Quinta do Rapozinho, Portugal: 24th to 28th April 2026
Rustic ramblings is a slower retreat for next spring – to take time out in city and countryside – to blow any remaining winter cobwebs away – walking in nature and getting a city hit in Porto – an amazing cultural hub, all in the same break!
You can do as much or as little as you like – based around 60 mins up and away in the hills outside of Porto – away from the hustle and bustle of city life – in a verdant valley…. we’ll be ideally placed in the peace and quiet for our yoga sessions. Yet within easy reach for any local trips too – to the stunning river city with its unique heritage, hills and culture.
Porto is a coastal city in northwest Portugal that’s famous for its wines, historic architecture, and scenic riverside charm. It’s Portugal’s second-largest city but has a very different vibe than Lisbon—more intimate, a bit moodier, and rich in character. It’s smaller therefore so much more accessible – and walkable!

Testimonial:
’Lucy rushed to meet me on my late arrival, she radiated warmth, and compassion and I was put at ease. The other attendees also with no exception were genuine in their welcome of me. This feeling of being part of the most positive group ever remained at each crevice in the stay, from laying quietly on our mat at the end of a yoga session to our joyous evening meals together and chit chat around the pool. To present yoga to a group of people all at different levels is no mean fete. But it was achieved!! How?? I will never know! It was glorious no competitiveness all at ease but feeling they had worked hard.I can say with honesty this was an experience I don’t think can be beaten, but maybe equaled! The friends I have made will be for ever, my feelings of joy will not be dimmed. Thanks!‘

ME SPACE: Meanderings and Manipura in the Malagan Hills
Dragonfly House Retreat Centre, Antequera, Malaga Province
Andalusia: 2nd to 6th October 2026
Nestled in the golden hills of Andalusia, where olive groves roll toward wide-open skies and the air carries the quiet hum of nature, this retreat invites you to step into a slower, more soulful rhythm of life. In October, the landscape glows with warm light—soft mornings perfect for yoga as the sun rises over the mountains, and gentle breezes guiding you along winding hiking paths that reveal hidden valleys, whitewashed villages, and vistas that seem to stretch into forever.
Here, you’ll reconnect with your breath, your body, and the grounding beauty of the natural world. Each day begins with mindful movement and deep rest, followed by nourishing food and unhurried moments of reflection. As we set out on our hikes, you’ll notice how easily conversation unfolds—how walking side by side allows thoughts to settle, insights to surface, and genuine connection to grow. The simple act of moving together opens space for shared laughter, meaningful exchange, and the kind of effortless bonding that only happens outdoors, surrounded by open sky and unfiltered stillness.
And we simply cannot go to Andalusia without having exploration time so we have two hikes included:-
1: El Torcal in Antequerra
El Torcal de Antequera is a truly magical place—one of Andalusia’s most striking natural landscapes and a perfect complement to a yoga and hiking retreat.
Protected Natural Area: It’s a Natural Park (Paraje Natural) near Antequera in Málaga province, known for its exceptional geological formations.
Karst Landscape: The terrain is made of limestone, carved over millions of years by wind, water, and erosion into surreal shapes—towers, mushrooms, columns, and winding rock “alleys.”
Ancient Origins: The limestone was laid down when this region was covered by seas (dating back to the Tethys Sea, hundreds of millions of years ago). Over time, tectonic forces uplifted these sediments, and erosion shaped the ground into what you see now.

2: Caminito Del Rey
The Caminito del Rey (literally “The King’s Little Pathway”) is a famous cliff-side walkway in Málaga province, Andalusia.
It runs through the dramatic Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, a gorge carved by the Guadalhorce River.
It’s a shared challenge — moving together through a dramatic landscape, supporting each other, and celebrating once you complete the trail
The spectacular views and high vantage points lend themselves to moments of quiet reflection, gratitude, or mindful silence.
